Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to your details when you ask A.W.R Alloy Wheel Refurbishment for a quote or get in touch.

Who we are

A.W.R Alloy Wheel Refurbishment is run by Danny Booth from the yard at the rear of 207 Belgrave Street, Wigan Road, Atherton M46 0GB. Danny decides how your details are used and is responsible for looking after them.

You can reach him at info@awralloysatherton.co.uk or on 07593 554518.

What we collect

The quote form asks for your name, phone number, car and the finish you're after, plus a photo of your wheels if you choose to add one. If you message us on WhatsApp, ring us or email us, we receive whatever you send.

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or any other tracking.

Why we use it

Only to reply with a quote, arrange the work and do the job. We use it because you asked us to, which the law calls taking steps at your request before a contract. We never sell your details or use them for marketing.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare hosts this website. When you send the quote form, Cloudflare passes it straight to Danny as an email; the website doesn't keep a copy. Like any website host, Cloudflare also handles basic technical details such as your IP address so it can deliver and protect the site.

Enquiries arrive in Danny's Gmail inbox, provided by Google. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp. These companies may process data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to quote and carry out the work, then delete it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, have them corrected or deleted, or object to how we use them. Just email or ring Danny using the details above.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
